PausePray is designed with privacy in mind. This policy explains how we handle your information.
1. Data Storage
PausePray does not require an account. All of your data—including prayer history, Pause List settings, and preferences—is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or have access to this information.
2. AI-Generated Prayers
When you use AI prayer generation, your selected prayer topics are sent to our AI service provider to create personalized content.
- Prayer topics (such as "gratitude" or "strength") are transmitted securely
- Used only to generate your prayer
- Temporarily retained for security purposes, then automatically deleted
- Not used to train AI models
- Not shared with advertisers or third parties
3. Text-to-Speech (Audio)
When you use the "Listen" feature, prayer text is sent to our text-to-speech service providers to generate audio. This text is processed in real-time and not permanently stored.
4. Analytics
We collect anonymized, aggregated usage statistics to improve the app (such as feature popularity and crash reports). This data does not identify individual users and is never linked to personal information. We do not track which apps you block, prayer content, or any Screen Time data.
5. Children's Privacy
PausePray is rated 9+ and designed for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes (such as adding new data collection), we will notify you through the app or by email. Minor updates will be reflected with a new "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
